Return Policy

Our return policy helps keep our prices as low as possible.

You have 72 hours (3 days) to evaluate a guitar we ship to you.  In certain cases, we may agree to a longer time frame in writing.  If the guitar is not returned as agreed, you own the guitar.

In unusual circumstances where we agree to reverse a sale when a customer has the guitar beyond the time frame specified above, the customer must pay a 10 percent restocking fee based on the price they paid for the instrument.

We package each guitar in the presence of a shipping employee so there is no dispute as to the guitar's condition when shipped.

If you alter the guitar/case in any way, you own the affected item and there is no return option.  In particular, do not alter the nut, saddle, frets, or tuning machines.  If you do, your return option is void and you own the instrument.

If you damage the guitar/case, you own the affected item and there is no return option.  (Minor damage can indicate the guitar was dropped or otherwise abused.)

To us, a repaired guitar is a used guitar, and we are not allowed to offer warranties on such instruments.  It is also likely that you wouldn't pay full, new retail for an instrument that was damaged by a previous customer and then repaired.  Therefore, you can understand why, as a matter of policy, we never sell repaired instruments, whose retail value often drops below our cost.

Wait at least 24 hours before calling to discuss what you perceive as problems with the instrument

No returns on sale/clearance items.  Otherwise, a guitar may be returned within two days of purchase if its condition is the same as when we shipped it.  Shipping damage is a separate issue discussed below.

When you receive a guitar from us, inspect it in the presence of the delivery person.  If the the guitar is damaged, refuse to accept it and ask the delivery person to return it to us.

If you accept a damaged guitar, AND the shipping company denies responsibility, you own the guitar and have no return option.  To protect yourself in this scenario, save and photograph any damaged packing materials as well as the damage to the guitar.

In the event of a return, the customer pays shipping both ways.

We also charge $25 to process the return, unpack the guitar, inspect it, etc.

Any credit card fees we paid for you to purchase and return the guitar debited against your credit card.

Notify us via phone at 952-322-1310 before you return the guitar.  Do not return it without warning, as we may not be in the office to receive it.  Insure the guitar for its full retail value, including the case

Request that the guitar recipient (us) sign for the package.  Otherwise, it may be left outside to be damaged by the elements or stolen.
