Complexity: subtle, intriguing tone colors within each note.  This attribute creates a fascination with a guitar that never grows old.

Refinement  tone that is clean and pure, with an air of elegance and sophistication.  This is the attribute that makes nylon-string guitars sound truly "classical".

Intonation: generally, the ability of a guitar to play in tune and produce accurate pitches for each note.  This is especially evident when playing chords.  When a guitar has good intonation, chords will sound sweet and undistorted, with all the notes blending perfectly.  Also, notes in the higher registers will have the proper pitch and will harmonize properly with bass notes.  A guitar with poor intonation will produce twangy or dissonant chords.  It may play in tune within the first five frets, but will not do so in the higher registers.
