Lacquer top instead of the French polish found on the 2008 model. The tone is slightly more brilliant and colorful than the French polish model. Best Marieta I have heard.

Update: We just had a chance to play it, and the sound is glorious. The guitar is now undergoing a full set up by a world-class luthier to perfect the intonation, check for high frets, etc. Should be available by 8/15/08.
This is the top of the line Burguet. Thin, hand-applied finish for improved tone and responsiveness. Beautiful cosmetic details. The guitar has a huge presence and a penetrating sound.
The Burguet was recently sold, but we are looking for another one.
